These so-called nano-screenMAG particles consist of a magnetite core which is first covered by a lipophilic fluorescence dye. A second layer is used to offer all the functional groups on the outer surface as with the fluidMAG particles. |

nano-screenMAG emits light in the range of green, orange and red light. Due to the additional fluorescence layer it is not possible to synthesize nano-screenMAG particles smaller than 100 nm.
