Silica Microspheres – Non-Magnetic

SiCORE

SiCORE are 1 µm sized non-magnetic, monodisperse microspheres based on a silica matrix.

The advantage of silica microspheres compared to polystyrene microspheres are the inert and stable solid-phase silica matrix without autofluorescence and are autoclaved for sterile applications.

Furthermore through the higher mechanical and chemical stability, hydrophilic character, resistance to microbiological degradation and compatible with organic solvents is it useful for biochromatiography applications.

SiCORE - active

SiCORE-active-microspheres are useful for covalent binding of bioaffine ligands, such as proteins or antibodies, as a tool for diagnostic application, e.g. Agglutination Test (LAT), Lateral flow assays or Particle Capture ELISA.

SiCORE - affinity

SiCORE-affinity - bioaffine ligands are covalently bound to the microspheres. High selectivity and high capacity make these products for an ideal tool for the binding of specific biomolecules.
