Magnetic Hydroxylapatite
mHPA-particles are non-spherical with hydroxylapatite coated ferromagnetic particles with a diameter of 2 µm, consisting of calcium phosphate.
mHPA-particles are a useful tool for magnetic isolation of proteins, enzymes, antibodies or nucleic acids. RNA and proteins can be removed with 0.24 M phosphate buffer. DNA will be selectively eluted with 0.48 M phosphate buffer.
