SiMAG/MP-DNA

SiMAG/MP-DNA beads have been developed for automatic DNA/RNA separation like genomic DNA, plasmid DNA, total RNA, viral DNA or PCR-products. DNA/RNA bind to the silica surface under high salts conditions (5 M guanidinium thiocyanate). The ferromagnetic beads have excellent magnetic properties and are therefore most suited for automatic DNA/RNA separation / purification. Since robotic systems from different manufactures work with different processing methods and different magnetic separation procedures, chemicell offers a set of modified SiMAG/MP-DNA particles, which are compatible due to optimized surface modification to all robotic systems.
